All of your employees regardless of their position or title in the company will need to be made fully aware of their responsibilities. Manager Training

All managers and supervisors require effective training to provide them with the necessary information and tools to deal with the issue of alcohol and drug misuse in the workplace. They will need to have an understanding of your policy and how to use it effectively but fairly.

Working with you we can develop a training programme that reflects your policy. The training will include all the necessary and relevant information on the effects of alcohol and drugs, the risks to the workplace, signs and symptoms of alcohol and drug misuse. Using case studies we will help the managers and supervisors understand their responsibilities and how to use the policy consistently and effectively. All attendees will be given a reference guide which will include the necessary documentation to use where they have to manage an employee who is in breach of the policy and how the testing and screening programme, if included is used. Employee awareness is a key element in being able to demonstrate that all your employees were made aware of the policy and understood their responsibilities within it. You will need to allay any fears concerning testing, if included and help them understand their responsibilities if they are taking medication that could impair their work performance.
